It may be that you are reading this article because you are searching for some Marco Island restaurants to visit while you are in Florida. Florida is a great state to visit not only for its weather but maybe for some of its cuisine as well. Here are a few recommended places for your palate.

Verdis, an American bistro as it is fondly called by its owner, is an upscale restaurant open nightly at 6 pm everyday. Strangely enough they are closed Mondays from June to August. All orders are cooked to order and discounts given to groups of eight or more. They also have gluten free menus for the diet conscious or those that are watching what they eat.

CJs on the Bay is another good place to eat being right next to the marina harbor itself in a great big gazebo type building that has access to a nearby floating dock. Menus also include many seafood offerings as well as one specially designed for kids. If you want a place to experience Smokehouse Bay while having a great dining experience, this place is worth the trip.

Sunset Grille is another place that may appeal to families and also those of the younger crowd. It has a sports bar theme and offers a great range of foods offered at varied times of the day all the way from breakfast to those late night cravings. Prices are reasonable and many enjoy the outdoor seating arrangements that they offer.

DaVinci is an Italian inspired restaurant in Marco. Many attest to their great outside of New York pizza and their chicken dishes. Depending on the day and season you may need to have a reservation before going there as it can get quite full. They have other local inspired dishes on the menu apart from pasta which you should also give a try.

Mexican food lovers will not be left out of the food hunting game once in Marco Island. There are a few restaurants that cater to those that love that south of the border taste. One of the more popular Mexican restaurants is one that is called Stonewalls. The setup in this restaurant has many confused, in which you pay first then you sit down for the service to begin. This is quite a new tack on service which may find amusing while others find it exasperating. Vegans and children alike will also find something to their liking in the menu. Although some say this place is a bit expensive for a Mexican restaurant, they do give pretty hefty servings.

For those who want simplicity at its finest, albeit the least amount of things on the menu, then Hoots may be the place for you. They only serve breakfast and only have pancakes, eggs, toast and steak on the menu. Very minimalist but it does not mean that it lacks in taste. Many a first timer have become regulars at this place.

This article just showcases a few of the many restaurants that you may come across when you are looking for Marco Island restaurants. The place of course has plenty more to offer but hopefully these few selections give you a basic idea on where to get started on your quest to find a great meal when visiting this town in Florida. So go on out there and see what Marco Island has to offer!
