Merchandising is known as part of marketing and promotion to be precise that deals with the imaging of a brand ensuring that the packaging of products meets the standards of markets and more so the taste of consumers. With this, conducting market research is critical as it is only through this that one can get to understand the taste and preferences of consumers and as a result learn how to satisfy them.

Depending on the merchandise sold, one gets to decide the layout to implement in creating a suitable setting for target customer. Moreover, it also depends on the menu and the items sold. This should be a determinant of whether the hotel sells fast foods or a variety of foods among them those that are healthy. It is through this that customers know the places that offer foods that meet their tastes and budget.

With the establishment of various outlets that offer commercial hospitality, one has to bring out their uniqueness so as to have a competitive niche over the competitors in the market. In addition, one has to develop a brand that people can associate with in terms of the services and products offered as it should be all about meeting the needs of consumers and not otherwise.

Restaurant concept design is usually determined by the standard of the hotel in term of how much one is looking to invest in this establishment. Basically, the more money and resources one has the more equipped, bigger, and attractive the restaurant will look which is critical in determining the productivity of the business and any aspect related to its profitability and advancement.
